Permaculture Association British Convergence 20103rd - 5th September @ Lambourne End Outdoor Centre, Lambourne End, Essex, RM4 1NB, England
The site is wheelchair accessible and is a really multifunctional
venue with a city and care farm, loads of space for camping, a wide
range of kids activities and it backs on to the ancient Hainault
Forest. We are delighted to have found this spacious and rural venue
for the convergence, just a few tube stops away from the centre of
London.
There are 35 beds in shared rooms available for older and disabled
members. If camping isn't an option for you, please contact us for
details.
Call for workshops, sessions, presentations!
Workshops this year are focused into streams:
- Practicals
- Projects
- Permaculture design - core theory and education
- People care
The convergence team have some great ideas about this years event.
Some workshops that we are sure you are going to enjoy are already
confirmed… However since this is your event, most of the convergence
depends on you… what will you be doing at the convergence this year?
If you're a project, let the whole network know what exciting and inspiring things you have been up to!
New teacher? Use the focus on core permaculture design theory and
education at this year’s convergence to get some teaching practice.
More experienced? Try out new and innovative session ideas.
Do you have a workshop to offer working with our hearts and minds?
Maybe you have something along the lines of Joanna Macy's ‘The Work
that Reconnects’ or would like to offer a new group communication tool.
We're looking for film suggestions for the cinema, and ideas for practical sessions too.
Please get in touch by May 31st 2010
with workshop offers and enquiries. If you miss the date don't worry
because there'll be discussion space available for last-minute
inspirations.
